From the city! ๐คจ๐
On my way back out of Manhattan...tired, busted up and sunburnt (so much for the rain ๐).
This is going to probably come down as not the greatest "day trip" ever, not because it wasn't cool and/or fun, but because sometimes the best laid plans...which these were not ๐...just don't work out.
If I'd just gone to sit and watch this track meet for myself it would've been pretty awesome. And if I'd have been to this venue before, I probably would've seen that logistically it wasn't going be so easy to get the pics & vids I wanted as it seemed like it would. Plus, the internet service was awful in the stadium and after the first two the upload times on the videos was in the "hours" for 3-5 minute videos. So I couldn't get any of the videos posted how I wanted to, and ended up with a whole stack of 'em that I haven't even looked at yet, which I'm going to sort through when I get home and see what I can get up for ya.
However ๐...
The walk through Harlem was pretty freaking lit ๐, and ended up being the most entertaining part of the day for me. I got loads of photos and a few videos, and I'm betting pretty hard that some of it is going to be some shit you've never seen before...so mission sort of accomplished.
I don't hardly even know what's in these cameras at this point, so we'll have to wait until I get home and sift through the pile and find out if there's anything worthy in their for ya.
But at this time, my guess if that it'll end up as more of a "Harlem" day than a "Track Meet" one. Like I saidโฆthe best laid plans. ๐
We'll know in a few hours. ๐
Can't wait!
Live and learn
You wouldn't have known unless you went there today.
Anticipating the pics...
