Nice cleansing day breathing up some sea air yesterday. It was overcast for most of it so the pics weren't great, but like I said in the video this was jusst a recon mission for future expeditions. Only thing I missed was walking a few blocks to see what's on the property where the busted up beach house I lived in for awhile. I'll be back.
This is exactly as corny as it looks, but still a pretty nice spot with decent food at decent prices, beach access and a shuttle boat so you can anchor up off the beach and call in for a pick-up…
Rye shoreline pics…
The Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary. Super cool place. 180 acres with a one-mile boarded loop path with loads of branches off it. About a mile or so of natural beach on Long Island Sound to the south and a tidal pond to the north with some of the most unreal private homes I've ever seen across it. More next time…
Random Playland shots…
72 degrees & mostly sunny 🙄…
And the Playland boardwalk on the way out.
I’m always up for drinks at the beach! Love the old wooden roller coaster. Those old parks are great. My happy spot is anywhere near the water. I love the most being in it and hubby literally has to drag me out. Ass in the sand, toes in the water, drink in my hand is my retirement goal!
Great pictures.
Wooden roller coaster brings back memories. I'm a water baby.
