Earlier today, the North American Aerospace Defense Command detected two Russian Tu-95 Bear-H nuclear capable bombers operating just on the edge of U.S. airspace near Alaska.

Two Air Force F16s were dispatched to intercept them, and the aircraft were escorted off without incident, having never entered American airspace.
