Suppose it does come down to Pence winning the GOP nom? What to do, what to do? I'm not dumb enough to believe for even one second that Pence will not tow the RINO line, so could I be a good little conservative and hold my nose and vote for him? 1992 I didn't like Bush I, because he undid as much of Reagan's work as he could in 4 years. But under no conditions would I vote for billy bob Clinton. So I wrote my own name in. I ended up voting for Oz last month against my better judgment. So I don't know how I would react if pence was the nominee.

I wouldn't doubt that an old rino like him could be induced to run just to bloody up DeSantis in a primary that could include Trump. What a circus that would be. If we could just eject all rinos from the republican party we might have a fighting chance at 2024.
All someone like Pence has to do is bring up something from DeSantis's past or criticize some part of his administration or time in congress for the left media to use it to muddy up the picture. The dems never fight fair and they spread half-truths with abandon, Add in Trump attempting to hold on to his position and it would be journalistic chaos. And if not Pence, I understand the Bolton is thinking of running, all old rinos from the bush administration who cannot abide the conservatives like Desantis and the mavericks like Trump that expose what corrupt hypocrites the likes of McConnell et al are. This is going to be a bloody battle between the nascent conservatives in the GOP and the old guard who are mired in corruption and colllusion and needs protect their status in the swamp.
I don’t believe that DeSantis has any skeletons in his closet but the left will most definitely try to manufacture some bullshit about him. Bolton doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting the nomination unless the republicans suddenly decide to become cheaters, and I don’t see the ball-less wonders of the GOP doing that. As for Trump, I think that ship has sailed.
And as for Trump, he could turn out to be the best weapon that the left has. He will split the GOP and we will have an even worse turn out in 2024 than we did in 2022. the GOP is a house divided and it will not be able to sustain what the left has been amassing against them. We can almost guarantee that they can coerce the swamp rinos to not support any true conservatives and the gossip that will be diseminated against any conservative will be equal or worse than what they did to Trump. We need a national disaster just before the election that can be attributed to biden's failed foreign policies in order for enough citizens to deny the seat to another lefty in times of trouble. I hate to say that but I truly believe that only a painful situation can pull the heads out of enough asses to stop the left.
I quite readily agree but the aim of the left, with the witless aid of such as Bolton and more I am sure, will be to damage DeSantis (if he choses to run at this time) or any other viable candidate to enable their wickedly poor bench to shine all the more in comparison. NONE of this is about truth, it is about disabling the opponents and we can well see how social media was able to turn a corrupt, senile grifter into our current president and they are equally equipped to do the reverse on anyone who might stand a chance in 2024.
