BREAKING: Queen Elizabeth Under Medical Supervision At Balmoral Castle
Seems like it might be worse than it sounds 😕
Reports coming out this morning that Queen Elizabeth II has been placed under “medical supervision” in her home at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Plenty of “not so good" indicators surrounding this. All of her children and grandchildren are either at her bedside or on their way to Balmoral. UK media outlets have suspended regular programming and are on alert and monitoring the situation. And the fact that they're not saying anything more than that she's under medical supervision seems pretty foreboding.
At age 96, she is the oldest and longest serving current head of state in the world, and the 2nd longest serving head of state in history after Louis the 14th of France.
There are strong feelings in all directions about the Royal Family in general, and there are valid, arguable reasons for most of them.
But putting all politics and feelings aside, I've always like Queen Elizabeth and found her interesting…just someone who I bet it would be a lot of fun to sit down over cocktails with and just listen to what she had to say.
Incredibly old ladies who have no reason in the world to care what anyone thinks about what they say are always fun to talk to.

The last sane Royal save for William. This is not what Britain needs if Charles steps up to gum it all up. Best wishes to a fine, fine, lady.
Sadly, nothing gold can stay. Hopefully there has been a secret document that proclaims William the new King, officially skipping Charles. Or that Charles exposes a modicum of decorum and keeps his seat.
