I'm not real fond of going up in something high and then looking out, not really a fear, just not a favorite thing. What I didn't realize until I tried scuba diving was how much I like breathing. I've been a swimmer since I was a kid, under water breath holding, no problem. But when I tried scuba diving I could not keep that regulator in my mouth for more than 1 minute. It was the most unnatural breathing I had ever experienced.
When the wind blows and causes the scaffold to swing away from the building a little bit, you'd swear it was the building moving. Cause ya KNEW the scaffold was all good.
If it's a "safe" height I'm OK. I don't consider window washing safe.
I am very afraid of falling. Couple weeks before Easter I fell in my kitchen in the middle of the night. Was half asleep and boom. I hiit my ribs really hard on a stool i keep by the stove. Very painful. Took almost a month to get better.
Being in water over my head with no chance of getting to a shallow end. I'm fine in swimming pools. And as long as my feet touch bottom I'm okay with lakes, rivers, and oceans.
As I've gotten older, I don't like driving on the turnpike when they have the lanes narrowed & no shoulder. Snakes, certain bugs and rats...and wasps...we had a yellow jacket infestation years ago. They tunneled from the outside corner of our siding to right over our kitchen ceiling fan. The exterminator said it was the worst he has seen bc the nest was so long/large and hidden. We has them coming our of the ceiling fan.
But above all of this..really fearful of the teflon dems and the stupid people who believe them, the media/tv and as I got a text this morning the people who are freaking over an alien invasion...
I was afraid of flying. I cured it by jumping out of a perfectly good airplane while it was still in the air (Skydiving). Once was good enough, but I never worried about sitting on a commercial airliner again
Now I am only afraid that someday I am going to wake up only to find this whole life we are living with a puppet president, men in women's sports, drag queens recruiting for the Navy and reading to kids in school will not have all have been a bad dream at all
Snakes, liars, and thieves. Basically, our government.

Had the same problem with snorkeling. Kept sucking seawater instead of air.π
You answered my question about breathing when snorkeling. I will stick to watching the sport on TV!
In college, I worked a year in construction.
The US Steel building in Pittsburgh.

Wow! That even sounds frightening! I am scared of heights, but you were beyond brave.
Not really scared of heights but scared of falling.

I fell down a flight of stairs once and ended up with twins seven months later. Never again!
I thot to myself that I fell and got hurt and wasn't able to blame it on drinking or anything else. I'm just clumsy.
I'm glad you're ok! Falling is scary af! When I fell down the stairs, I was holding my baby and tripped over my toddler's toy.
Glad you or your baby didn't get hurt too.
Oh my!!!π€£
Snakes and clowns π΅

If you fall, do it from really high, maybe you can learn how to fly befor the sudden stop. The stop is the painful part
