Buckle up, kids. This shit gets real.
Unhinged lefthole pandemic perpetrators across the fruited plain, emboldened by an article from The Atlantic written by some comically optimistic person called Emily Oster, are suddenly crawling out from under their rocks and calling for "Pandemic Amnesty", which loosely interpreted is all of us forgiving and forgetting about all of their tyrannical, poorly thought out and catastrophic decisions and actions during the pandemic. They're presenting this as having acted the best way they could under the circumstances they were faced with, and with a "Hey, sorry we killed your grandma in a nursing home. But that's in the past now. Let's unify and start over. 😃" attitude...which just makes everything worse.
I'm going to suck every drop of suspense out of this article right off by saying...
No. We're not going to do that, you feckless, murdering, economy crushing, election manipulating, kid wrecking, progressive agenda sneaking in, worthless bitches. No. You're going to be "reckoned".
Obviously, my single voice has little to say about how this all works out. But I feel like the general sentiment behind what I'm saying now may be pretty representative of how the American people feel about this, if not necessarily the means by which I'd address it if we faacked up and put me in charge of handling it. We'll see.
Three things...
1. You scumbags clearly recognize the gravity of the situation you've put yourselves in with your catastrophic ideas and decision making paradigms, or your pompous, elitist asses wouldn't be asking for the forgiveness and forgetting of your transgressions by the peasants. Though we'll never know the true numbers, your decisions killed thousands and thousands of people, and significantly harmed many more. You fundamentally changed society for the worse, for everyone, and the only reason you're coming to the real now is that you fear being held culpable for it, and are shamelessly looking for a way out for yourselves. You should receive no quarter from those you've harmed. None at all.
2. Are you serious? Are you fucking serious??? Amnesty? Forgive and forget? Like, "Sure. No problem. Could've happened to anybody. Who knew? Grandma was pretty old anyway, and maybe little Susie can learn to read and interact on a daily basis with other human beings next year. And I'm sure I'll find another job somewhere after being terminated for not accepting your useless potions into my body. Let's all just let bygones be bygones."
Do you really see that in your broken minds? Because I see something entirely different than that in mine, and while widespread public sentiment may not entirely embrace things playing out the way my admittedly flawed thought process does, I think it's a fair bet it'll lean closer to mine than to yours. Let's try a sample and find out...
3. You want "Pandemic Amnesty"? Here's my counter offer. When all is said and done and America has scrubbed enough of the stink of democrat ideology and policy off of our government via elections that we can evaluate what to do about you intelligently and rationally, let's have one big symbolic American "Hunger Games", with 24 tributes reaped from a pool of your children, and placed in an arena to fight each other to the death until just one "victor" remains. That way, you'll understand, appreciate and truly feel remorseful for the things you did when you placed this entire country into an 'arena' of our own for two years.
You will feel loss, and you'll feel deep, gut-wrenching emotional pain. And your lives will be fundamentally changed by it. And you'll remember every bit of all of that, like we remember what you did to us.
Then, after that, we can talk about "amnesty". For some of you.
Like I said, putting me in charge of this "reckoning" of you miscreants would be an awful idea, and you should thank whatever gods you pray to that no one would ever do that.
But take a good, long sip of that sentiment, and know that while hyperbolic, I'd bet it's not too too far off of what most Americans feel about you.
Faaaaaaack ALL the way off with your "Pandemic Amnesty", you criminals.
As I said at the top, there's an article in The Atlantic that mostly started me off on this tirade. I'm not publishing that shit on my page. It's Googlable if you want to see it for yourself.
You got that right!
Totally with you on this one. Amnesty? Not a faaacking chance in hell.
