On this day in 2017, Rep. Dianne Feinstein said she thought SCOTUS nominee Neil Gorsuch would make a bad Supreme Court Justice, because he interprets the Constitution literally, and the Constitution was written only 100 years after they were burning witches at the stake.
That sounds personal AF to me. 😆
If the Constitution had existed, they would have had to prove the witches guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The witches would have rights, representation, and the presumption of innocence.
Now we’re burning the Constitution in broad daylight, and without recourse.
Maybe one of those witches was her mother...
