Some idiot on TV referred to him as "Comforter" and Chief. Really? He's awkward at these things and has a hard time being comforting when he has to bring up his own family's tragedy every time. I don't know if he thinks it shows his capacity for understanding and empathy or his handlers just tell him if he can't think of anything else to say without a script to fall back on that.
