They learned this from WrestleMania. To sell a sport to people - you need a good guy and you need a villain. It doesn't matter who the good guy is or who the villain is.... it's a fluid situation.... get people to watch is all that matters. It's not sport as much as it is entertainment (it's why WWF became WWE) - but it pays the bills. Too bad... I was starting to like watching women play basketball as a sport... with rules.... unlike the NBA that now has fewer rules than the aforementioned Pro Wrestling circuit... but the seats get sold... so nobody cares what I think
But you notice that Nike is sponsoring that Clark girl now? Get knocked over is really lucrative today
She’s a great player and happens to be the flavor of the month for that reason. Unfortunately, the also rans have a big problem with that.
It is what it is…..
She is a phenomenal player, and fairly humble especially compared to the idiot that chucked her and the other one that laughed

Me thinks that you give the WWF/WWE a bit too much credit. I never saw the allure.
If Clark had knocked that black girl down she'd be a racist
As if straight, white and happy wasn't bad enough
