I remember Nathan A. 😁
Two minutes after our interaction that day, he came back downstairs with one of the owners. The owner said to me "Did you tell this customer to go to hell?", and I said "Absolutely not.", which I didn't.
In 18 years of retail hardware I've never once told a customer to go to hell out loud. Then the owner told Nathan A, "In the three years he's been here not one customer has ever said that he told them to go to hell. If I believed he did I'd fire him right now. But I don't."
Then Nathan A turned around, crestfallen, and slunk his ass back up the stairs, and apparently went home and got on Yelp 😏...
Fun times. 😃
Now you can find Nathan and actually tell him to go to hell without worrying about getting fired 😄
Ahh....customer service....
I would take & have taken it over the "my taxes pay your salary - so dance monkey, dance attitude"...a yup got that one way too many xs in approximately 10 years of gvt service (internship, volunteer & employed).
