In 2016, a high school senior named Drew Hunter, from Loudoun Valley H.S. in Purcellville VA, broke the national record for the High School Boys Indoor Mile, covering the distance in 3:58.25 at the Armory Track and Field Invitational, right here in New York.
It's the #2 thing Loudoun County VA is famous for.
