The dems are going to try and smash their Green New Fack You Babbling Biden Bullshit Deal through congress as fast as they possibly can now, because they need something to run on in '22...and technically they're already running in ‘22...and the best they've got right now is "We Juggled Seven Massive Self-Inflicted Crisises Better Than Any Other Administration Ever Juggled Seven Massive Self-Inflicted Crisises In The History Of This Nation, Bitches!" They absolutely need this bill, and they need it as now as possible.
But the old drunk lady is going to muck that all up for them and run stunts & schemes instead, trying to catch one last handful of relevance on her way to the boneyard. Pelosi is Custer in this mess. She's done as House speaker this time next year no matter what. The only thing at stake for her is if the story ends as a fairy tale or a horror/comedy, and that old goat isn't leaving that in the hands of 'the squad'. She needs this bill, too.
But stunts & schemes take time, and the longer it takes, the more republicans can read all the bullshit that's actually in the bill and tell everyone about it. Because they're already running in ‘22 too, and that's campaign ad gold, right there. And the more people hear about the bill, the deader it gets.
