I also love the responses you give to those stupid twitter twits. I think I open almost everything and respond when my brain decides to kick in. I also love reading other peopleβs responses. They are all so interesting and I learn quite a lot. Last but not least I am enjoying your travels and pictures.
I open and read all the posts. Just FYI, about 80% of them come in to my "promotions" box rather than my "primary" box.I will occasionally toss a comment in and I will hit the "like" on the majority of the other comments. I enjoy what you are doing, although I hope that the problem between substack and twitter is soon resolved. The twitter app is a PITA for me to navigate personally, but my favorite thing about PCS is reading the tweets. Enjoy your day!
I've been struggling a little about posting too many tweets, feeling like it was getting a little tired. This indicates interest in them, so it helps, and thank you.
I'm pretty certain I'm going to follow my gut and go for the Blue Check on Twitter for at least a month just to see what it does for my reach and if it gives me any more leeway on posting Substack content. More on this as it unfolds. π
You're actually the ideal subscriber. You got here, figured out how Substack works, and set it up to use it the way you want to and access the content on your own terms.
And there are no "bad subscribers". It's just that when I look at the reports and see someone signed up a year ago and then never opened a single email and hasn't been on the page in the last 30 days, they're likely not that interested anyway, so why waste each other's time. They found us once. They'll do it again if they want to.
Maybe this is not the comment you want to see, but I'd like less nice personal stuff and more sarcastic political stuff. If the email "heading" seems to be about something I may not be interested in, I scroll on by. Sorry to be so blunt, but that's who I am.
It's going to end up being Mon-Fri predominantly what you said you're looking for, and weekends stepping back from that mostly and catching my breath. Today's "plan" was a long trip that made up most of the day, so it's not really a fair measure. It won't always be like that.
So maybe approach it that way. Ride along during the week, then maybe just peek in and pick & choose on the weekends.
Iβm like the Tweets too. Often I donβt know whatβs going on βout thereβ until I see your tweets. I like anything I can just read too. I tend to skip over the videos because I donβt have a lot of patience for people just yapping at me, lol. π€£
I like seeing your Twitter interactions. There seems to be a substantial faction of Never Twitter-ers that would not be able to enjoy your stuff if you didn't post it here.

Today's gonna be a fun one. π

Looking forward to it.
Wait !
You're tracking anyone who opens your mail and/or comments ?
FED ! FED ! FED !
Nooooo...
Substack is.
I'm just exploiting the data provided for personal gain. π
(Disclaimer...it's not as nefarious as all that, and SS isn't "tracking" anybody. Check the reply to JJL for a more detailed explanation. π)

I'm a subscriber but I neverrrrrr open the emails. Does that make me look like a bad subscriber??
Not at all!

No need to be sorry at all. β€

Stupid autocorrect. Itβs supposed to say *I* not Iβm.
