The entertainment world loses an icon

Iconic “one hit wonder" comedy legend, Gallagher, has left his mortal coil behind at age 76, and is now smashin' fruit at the hand of God.

I'ma be honest, Gallagher wasn't that funny. 😏

The watermelon bit was pretty good the first few times, when I was like 12, but Gallagher was no Richard Pryor.

However, he entertained millions throughout his career, and made lots of folks smile…and sticky if you sat in the first few rows…and undeniably left his juicy pink mark, and probably some seeds too, on American culture.

For that, I salute him.

Rest easy, messy goofy funny man.
