The house GOP has nowhere near enough evidence to begin impeachment on the Big Guy…because no matter how much evidence they have, it won't be enough to get ten senate democrats to vote for a conviction. They won't even get all the republicans.
The only vagary to that outcome could be if this is how the Regime decides to drag Joe's political remains out of the race. Then it'll be easy. Only it'll make things way worse.

We have made significant progress - from "No evidence" to "Not enough evidence"
Like how the Laptop story has evolved from I know nothing, to I didn't talk to, to I didn't talk about business, to there was no money from China, to Nobody actually deposited money into my Christmas Club account at the 2nd National Bank of SW Delaware....
Not enough evidence is still evidence and deserves an investigation to continue....
It's not like anyone in Congress is going to work on a budget or a spending plan or any significant legislation "this close to the next election"
