This is the backside of the building going up next to the Transcenter where I used to do the morning shows. The whole thing looks like 6 different people came up with a design and they used each of them for a different part of the building. It's looking pretty awful so far. 😏
But whether intentional or not, this part of it looks eerily like a little mini World Trade Center tower.
As a degreed Architectural historian all I can add to this conversation is that architecture usually reflects the culture of the time. What you are seeing reflects the growing incoherence of our society. It is an example of a disintegration of a cultural core with the implementation of multiculturalism and a planned lack of any rational replacement for it other than chaos.
It's one of those government contracts that mandated a certain % of the design work be awarded to various ethnic groups. It didn't matter what the end result looked like as long as 6 separate demographics were satisfied. Just kidding! Maybe.
