Joe Biden gets awakened and notified, taken from bed, briefed, prepped, whisked down to the situation room, has all the options laid out for him, orders U.S. missile defense systems to their highest level of readiness to neutralize the threat, quickly ponders the advice of his top military advisors, makes a decision, gives the order to execute the mission and saves the day with just two minutes left to spare.

B. Joe Biden makes it to 'bathrobe & slippers', then trips over Fakedoctor Jill's fakedoctor's bag, and is prone and confused on the floor when the PLA missile hits.
