Back to home base, with two phones, one empty thermos, my glasses, my hat, my keys, all my clothes, and maybe even a little bit of an ass after all the hills. 😏
The day we walked around the French Quarter in New Orleans for 12 hours I think I had something close to that. And I was just about crawling the last 2 blocks back to the hotel.
Went to Paris April 2022 with daughters and 3 granddaughters, did about that all 4 days. The day we took the Metro to Montmartre I thought they were trying to kill me. Coming up from the station was like ascending from the depths of Hell, without handrails. Didn't think I'd make it. Youngest g-daughter (9 at the time) said "Mim, your face is really red". Quiet, kid, I can't breathe! Didn't help that I was recovering from the CV Jeebies, and I'm old and out of shape
