There's gonna be howls from the House of Representatives over this. Some folks would be amazed at the number of Congresscritters who have unpaid student loans.

The scary part is..... all these "constitutional experts" like Joe Biden and his followers saying - this is not a normal court, and this decision is not the final word... might lead to a whole new round of promises (that NOBODY has ANY intention of keeping) for votes and judging by the quality of our education system, it just might work again

They’re already losing it over the demise of ridiculous affirmative action crap.

Excellent news. I graduated from college and paid my student loans off. My son did the same.

Why aren’t the leftists going after universities where some cost $50-$70k a year.

We know why.

The Federal Student loan program is a Ponzi scheme.

The university’s raise their tuition/fees on average over 5-7% a year. They never cut any fat like useless degrees and the 5 diversity officers.

Knowing that the student has to go deeper in debt they just raise rates and students borrow more.

Also the student loan money goes directly to the school.

When I went to college in the 80’s the loans went to me and I saw fit to pay tuition and books and then took out a promissory note for the second semester each year and worked to pay that off directly.

Finally any loan forgiveness has to be done through the legislative branch not the executive.

Absolutely! I went to college in the mid to late 70s, before the student loan program was federalized. That's the point where the universities started raising the tuition and adding the useless degree programs. They no longer had to worry about the collection process or pressure from the lenders to keep fees reasonable.

I was fortunate to get a discount on my loans by joining the military.

I still think..... a college loan application should ask "what do you plan to study?" and "What kinda job do expect to get with a (see response to question 1) degree?" and finally, "how long do expect it will take YOU to pay this loan back?"

I love that they Nancy Pelosi’s words about it being unconstitutional. The old bat’s a democrat until you step on the toes of her power. 😂
