BREAKING: U.S. Coast Guard Locates "Debris Field" Within Titanic Excursion Search Area
That's not good 😬
Reuters reporting that the U.S. Coast Guard has located a "debris field" within the search area of the submersible that went missing this week while on an excursion to the wreckage of the Titanic.
Perspective..."debris fields" don't just happen. And there was only one thing down there which could potentially cause one, so it's pretty likely that 'Search & Rescue' is over, and 'Recovery' is now underway.
If there's any upside to this story at all it's that if this ended how it looks like it did to me, those five folks dying in a catastrophic failure of the structural integrity of the submersible 12,000 under the Atlantic Ocean had a way better time of it than if they had to sit there for four days in 35° temps waiting to run out of oxygen.
More as this story unfolds.

I was thinking what you said. Unfortunately better that the sub imploded than a slow death of losing oxygen for days knowing the end is near.
I had a bad feeling about it, the first time I heard that there was a problem. Man, I hate being right sometimes.
