I was thinking what you said. Unfortunately better that the sub imploded than a slow death of losing oxygen for days knowing the end is near.

Due to this late breaking news - my wife insists I stop all work on my "do it yourself" submarine project that I have been working on since I found that old Atari game controller I thought would make great way to steer a sub

Yes, exactly as it is one huge graveside. There's so many videos now of the wreckage...let the poor souls rest in peace.

I am sad for the families and friends of the five guys. But I am compelled to agree with you, that a sudden death is way better than a slow one. I hope that there is enough debris in the field to determine what happened, but I wonder how much can be gleaned from it.
