I think it is a misnomer to call it a debt ceiling. Let's call it what it really is - A BOTTOMLESS PIT being created for our grandchildren that will swallow them whole. It just sounds better to hint at ascension rather than a precipitous slide into fiscal destruction. I’ve never been negatively impacted during a shutdown. I also want Biden to pick up the phone and call the German Chancellor and tell them THEY can supply some tanks, this is in their backyard, and we’re already providing a massively lopsided amount of resources.
