Democrats are on Capitol Hill trying to slam this preposterous Green New Whathefackever Deal bill through congress as we speak, just like we were talking about the other night.
It's a smaller version of the original one, but mostly because they took out a lot of the stuff that was good. All the green new DemSoc bullshit is still in there. Just smaller.
Three Things, and one question.
1. Joe Manchin isn't holding out on voting for it on principle or any particular objection to the content of the bill. He's pure numbers, and he quantified that every time he made a statement saying he wouldn't vote for the bill. There's a number democrats could go to Manchin with that he'd be okay with, no matter what's in the bill.
2. In a delicious twist of fate, the toughest battle this mess of a bill faces right now is against a group of about 20 "progressives" led by one of the squabs from the squad, who won't vote for the bill because it's not big enough, and because Nancy Pelosi won't handcuff it to the infrastructure bill. That's what's standing between you and socialism tonight. Twenty unhinged leftholes and an old drunk lady. 😆
3. Pelosi must be losing her marbles and double-fisting Bombay Sapphire martinis. These dummies she's fighting with aren't bright enough to make a deal with, or to stop talking. I bet she's probably going to shut it down tonight and go hang upside-down in a cave somewhere to plot her next move.
Question...
What do you think Joe Manchin's "number" is, where he'd sign off on this bill?
Go!
I'm going with 1.2 trillion.
Based upon that clown Obama's $800B mess of a bill in 2009, and a rough twelve year inflation curve, slightly accerated to accommodate for Democrats being a little extra stupid and desperate this year, that seems like a reasonable enough "Preposterous Democrat Spending Spree Bill".
I disagree on a minor point: the old bat is bypassing a martini glass and chugging strait from the bottle.
Manchin's number is 1.5 T. My bet.
