I have a different take on the Jan 6th mess. That building belongs to the people. Our tax dollars have supported it ever since it was built. The dems seem to think they own the building lock, stock and barrel and we peons have absolutely no right to be there when in fact we pay for it’s upkeep. It was like trespassing on your own home. However, since a lot of our tax money goes into that building the people who barged in should have treated the building with more respect. The building has historical significance and it is our responsibility to be careful and respectful. Just because there are idiots who reside there now doesn’t mean this will always be the case. I know people feel pushed and trampled and dismissed but there are better ways to show their ire. And, of course, the antics of the other side just made everything so much worse.
It was massively respectful. This guy broke in and shouted through a bullhorn. He didn’t break windows or start a fire or loot anything. He shouted into a bullhorn and left a note.
I feel a lot of people n the right have fallen for a lot of the propaganda and false narrative surrounding this incident.
We don’t know who was breaking windows and being destructive. There’s a very good chance we’ll never know because they were probably planted there to frame Trump supporters. There are 14,000 hours of video evidence that they have kept under wraps.
You can bet your ass if they were incriminating, we would have seen them.
The treatment of the "insurgents" is beyond despicable. Who gets a sentence like that for trespassing? No one except a Trump supporter. I so wish they could prove somehow that the instigators in the crowd were responsible for this. By instigators I mean democrats, ANTIFA, FBI and whoever else made sure this happened. I also agree that no one should have damaged anything.
And...........if Ashli Babbitt were a black male, who once held a gun to a pregnant woman's belly while having her in a chokehold during a home invasion, a deadbeat Dad, had numerous illegal drugs in her system, and tried to pass counterfeit money...........she would be deified.
