It is my opinion that as long as we are tweeting, blogging, posting etc it feels as if we are doing something and that is a trap. We are doing nothing but; 1) re-inforcing each other in our beliefs when we post in a friendly site and 2) shouting at those vehemently opposed to us and ready to uselessly joust with each other and the end results are that we both feel we justified our beliefs but turned no one, in any great number, to change sides. Think of the Civil War. 600,000 were willing die for what they believed in. We are at that point. Talking is not going to change the left anymore than emancipation pamphlets turned anyone in the South to free their slaves. We need to stand up and take action, whether it be showing up at town hall meetings, running for seats in governments and on school boards but just talking is wasting time but serving as a benign outlet for our rage.
1) Our country is not and never has been a “DeMOcracY” 😁 We are a constitutional Republic.
2) There are people that still watch CNN?
3) all that care. Haven’t watched cable news in about 6 or 7 years. All the same. The latest with Tucker proves my point.
4) I haven’t watched the local news since 3/2020. They were coming complicit in Covid reporting and the fear mongering. Still here in western NY Buffalo area there are people with masks on.
I think they are psychologically gone and forever lost.
We have the mask addicts here in NY's Capital Region too. In the stores, on the streets (alone), riding bikes (alone) . . . And the majority don't wear them properly, either under the nose or completely under the mouth. Then they drop them in the parking lot when they get in their cars. And they vote.
I don't know if Jo (jofromjerz) gets it.... but... being told what to think and what to be offended by is so much easier than thinking or forming cohesive thoughts... yeah, she didn't change the channel
