This is what concerns me about Trump. He'll say anything to disparage DeSantis (or any other enemy), even if it's not in his best interest.

Not sure if it's true, but I saw someone comment that a Trump son was saying that we shouldn't boycott Bud Light because AB donates a lot of money. If that's true, he needs to get his priorities straightened out.

Confirming that Don Jr. did say that.

I have been thinking about this in broader terms than Trump/DeSantis and it really isn't up to any government to dictate whether a business succeeds or fails. Ideally, people should refuse to consume what Disney is offering and therebye cause them enough financial harm to either correct their ideology or go out of business. If we are truly conservatives in this nation, Disney would 1) never made such a stupid turn to the prog/left deviancy and 2) they would be feeling truly great financial difficulty at this point and governments should have only processed their laws against pederasty, grooming etc as they occurred. DeSantis is making this a government vs private business thing which is something NO CONSERVATIVE ever wants to see happen so I do not side with DeSantis on this but people will because the press will make sure to inflict the most damage on Trump. I do wish people could think for themselves and understand the very basics of the battle being fought right now for the essence of our original constitution.

Disney threw the first stone.

We are conflating a government's reaction to a private company. While I deplore what Disney has turned itself into, it got that way while "good parents" were not paying attention to what they were supporting through their blind allegience to a brand, that from our childhood, was associated with the most wholesome family products. If DeSantis, as governor, wanted to highlight the deviancy of Disney, he should use the laws on the books to limit their actions within their private business. Again, I blame the distracted American conservative for not taking economic action against Disney. What we DO NOT WANT is any government thinking they can impress their values on a private business. Turn this around and think about what the "government" wants to do with Christian cake makers, for instance. Government has no business involving themselves in matters of personal conscience. The hate speech legislation is unconstitutional and so are all the "fruits" from that misguided democrat legislation. The same with Disney. If they want to go woke, let them but it is up to the private citizen to make them go broke, not the government. In the end the prog/left will use this spat to win the 2024 election because the GOP can't stand for anything resembling conservative principles.

Because TDS goes both ways!!

Trump is ALL ABOUT TRUMP!! He says the right things to "rally the troops"....

Just like sonny boy saying not to boycott AB/BL bc they donate to the GOP.

It will NEVER, FN EVER, REALLY EVER BE ABOUT AMERICA (OUR CONSTITUTION AND THE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THE MIDDLE CLASS! IT IS ALL ABOUT THE $$$, POWER & EGO!

It is a game...Trump while he did a lot of good no doubt, and opened some people's eyes - in the long run how did it or will it help us?

Personally, Desantis needs to stay in his lane right now and make Florida as strong as possible. Trump is too divisive. This "feud" is stupid, imo.

Perhaps and maybe he did...or didn't. Perhaps he has a different perspective on the matter of things that we are unable to see yet or comprehend...like so many other truly gifted people who say things that raise up some shackles or even your hair...because they know things that johnQ don't know yet...and it is our duty to trust and be patient in the waiting...which is a lesson I go thru daily!!!

Oh, I agree with Donald on this but the press will take this and attempt to depict him as a friend of pedophiles etc. Trump is really in a no-win situation about this and anything he says. He has a target on his back no matter what. I don't always agree with him but as I posted in another reply here, Desantis is wrong.

Excellent, Glen. Trump really can’t focus on running a clean campaign without sniping at everyone. I am worn out with the destruction of our country by insane dems. I see the worry on people ‘s faces. This new Disney parade is a disgrace.

I have many issues with Trump, especially in regards to Covid.

The Disney thing is the least of my concerns.

I will patiently wait for the primaries to begin in earnest, but we are far beyond any President being able to right this ship. It will take Herculean efforts that too few would support. We see this machine is rotted with corruption.
