At what point will Kevin back out and throw his support to one of the others like Jim Jordan or Bryan Donald just to get this over with? That would really screw with the Dems as they would have no control over either of those guys.

Never. And objectively speaking, as long as the "Republican Squad" keeps bringing unserious, non-viable candidates to the floor to put against him, he shouldn't. I wouldn't.

The problem is, the Dems want control of the house speaker, no matter WHO it is. And they're going to keep fucking shit up until they GET what they WANT. And McCarthy is just trying to hold onto what little shred of control they're going to let him keep, while they fuck with the rest of it. This is NO BUENO.

He should lose all his support over that move. Make a note of those who are still rallying around a loser with nary a shred of ethics or principles. I’d rather see someone draw a line in the sand and go down swinging than a b.s. artist who smells the wind changing and shapeshifts to fill the bill. Ad those still supporting him obviously
