I'd like to see a governor or former governor, because they already have experience being an elected leader.

Not Vivek. As much as I happen to love the guy, naming him as a running mate would create a lot of dissention in the ranks. And we don't need any more of that. Vivek can be a cabinet member, chief of staff, or a some other type of advisor to Trump.

Whoever he chooses must be independently electable since Trump would be inaugurated as a lame duck. His VP needs to be the person we're going to vote for in 2028.
