I'm a boomer and my mother watched soap operas to fill her bland life with turmoil and drama. Later women read risque romance novels to fill the void. Now dead head products of our public education sit and drink up the fake salacious gossip on "The View" because their brains are as vapid and empty as that program - noise without meaning or value.
I slightly disagree. The Special Olympics are full of “special” athletes. There is nothing special or athletic about the women on the view. Just a bunch of nasty, stupid women who somehow landed in front of a camera for money. So I would say The View is the prison riot of broadcasting.
