The company I work for gives us a paid holiday on the Martin Luther King federal holiday, but not on Juneteenth.  Believe me, I'd rather have a day off in June than in January. But I'm not turning it down either.

The Black Texans at Texas Instruments, where I worked from 1980 to 1992, took Juneteenth off every year. The white folks didn't, it wasn't our holiday.

BTW, Juneteenth was spell corrected to June teeth. Cmon, Microsoft! Get with the times!
