I've been voting for over 50 years. I have never waited in line for more than a few minutes. If I had to wait that long I could easily survive a few hours without food or water. Plan ahead, people! If your polling place is that busy have a snack before you get in line! If you dehydrate that quickly you should be carrying your own beverage at all times.
