For months and months I've been hearing the phrase "It's all about power" regarding social media, mandates, and all this other bullshit that's going on today. The problem is I really didn't understand what "power" people were talking about, and its purpose.
A friend of mine defined it for me the other day, and it now makes perfect sense to me. He was talking about a person who played the same internet game as him who is a moderator on Tic Tok. It's her only job; she sits at a computer all day "resolving" disputes and issues. This person is a toxic liberal lesbian who hates her parents and blames everyone except herself for the situation in which she currently finds herself. This person is constantly bragging on Discord about how she "sticks it to conservative religious zealots" all day, banning them from the platform. She seems to get some kind of orgasmic pleasure out of using her power to punish those she disagrees with ideologically.
And that's when I realized that's what all this is really about. These people (The Squad, Pelosi, Liberals in general) have such a deep seeded abject hatred for conservatives that they will do anything necessary to shout them down, shut them out, and silence them. They have some kind of twisted Machiavellian sense of responsibility to purify the world of what they consider to be its greatest evil. History has seen this type of behavior many times before.
And it scares the hell out of me.
It scares the hell out of me because of what it has taken historically to put these people down after they assumed absolute control.
This is the perception I've had of this and I know people like that but fortunately they are not in positions of power over others. They just start arguments at social gatherings. Well said!

We think they’re wrong, they think we’re evil.
Because they think we’re evil they feel justified to take any action deemed necessary.
That’s really at the heart of why I believe there was unbelievable amounts of hanky Panky during the election.
They felt they were “saving” the country, so it was ok.
