There should be "Fish Pickler Story Hour" shows for kids in every school in America, from sea to shining sea, where professional fish picklers come to the school and tell kids about pickling fish, and how it works and all the ingredients and shit. Then they could read the kids a story about fish pickling and give them some free pickled fish samples.
Fish pickling's a good life skill to be exposed to and learn about.
It could come in handy if you're hungry, and have some herring and neighbors who you hate.
And if there's no good reason for there not to be "Drag Queen Story Hour" shows for kids in schools, then there's no MF'ing good reason for there not to be "Fish Pickler Story Hour" shows for kids in schools either, is there. 🤨
Fish pickling is at least a skill vs a drag queen reading to you. I used to go read to elementary kids as part of my job working for a land developer/home builder. My co-workers and I would go read to the kids at the school in our communities and then answer random questions which usually included “how much do you make?”....😂
I've read hundreds of books to my Son and Grandkids and haven't once thought, "maybe I'll toss on some pantry hose/short skirt and a push up bra" not even once. A hard no on the fish pickler too! 😏
Or how about a geek story hour? Maybe kids could find some potential career future in biting the heads off chickens at a local freak show! Oh, wait... I guess that's not a viable future career anymore.
