ABSOLUTELY should've been in the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame is fake until Pete Rose is in it.
Prayers for Pete in heaven, and his family.
😢
R.I.P. Pete
😢💔
Definitely should have been in the HOF! One of the great ones & I'm glad my Dad took me to many Phillies games. May he rest in eternal peace.
I grew up watching Pete and the Big Red Machine Play. I think it was the best team ever. Maybe now they'll let him in the Hall of Fame.
Sad that he ruined his legacy by gambling on games. And I’m a firm believer that NO he doesn’t belong in the HOF
He AGREED to forfeit that honor in order to avoid jail time. Actions have consequences
He knew what he was doing when he did it that it was WRONG. He chose to proceed in spite of
He got caught. And he accepted his punishment. He is a DISGRACED player
That doesn’t belong in the HOF
Pete was an amazing ballplayer.
He single handly (almost) beat my Yankees in the '76 world series, among his many other accomplishments.
However, he bet on baseball and his own team.
Broke the cardnial rule.
No HOF for him ever.
Are you listening Shoei?
#1 Rule of Baseball: Don't gamble. Not only did he break this Cardinal Rule, he gambled on his own team, therefore no induction.
Other players called him "Charlie Bullshit"........not very well liked.
