Incontinence is common once dementia/ALZ advances; in fact, my mother became incontinent early on in her dementia journey & had to wear Depends. Namenda causes constipation, not diarrhea! Our resident puddinghead can't feel the urge to 'go' I guess so he goes without warning. That's dementia for ya! I suppose his meetings will all be 'virtual' from now on since he can no longer be trusted to be out in public.
I heard heβs on namande for dementia and it gives you explosive diarrhea.
He needs to be on something. π
They have him so amped up on amphetamines for him to just get through the day.

He needs more fiber in his diet...Metamucil
