Desperately is surely the word. I got a call this morning from the Republican National Committee asking me for money and all I said was : You can't even manage an election for Speaker of the House - NO you get no money from me!!! Yet we keep sending the same assholes back to DC. I want to have a personal talk with all the monkeys in Kentucky that gave us back that putrid old fart McConnell - we have little hope at this time that anything will change for the better.
Yeah, maybe probably will get the vote. Maybe the holdouts got enough concessions to make their points. Who knows? What I do know is the bunch of us could run that place so much better than the current monkeys on the hill.
Any woman who runs an effecient household could do better than these ditherers. The reason Trump was so despised is that they had nothing on him to control his actions and that scared the bejeezus out of them. We need new, non-compromised bodies in congress who can do what the people who voted for them want, not what the people who subsidized their campaigns want. Now how to manage that is the $64,000 question.
I'll tentatively hold a candle in the window that the GOP can form some kind of semblance of a coalition to push back on DC leftholery...that being said I have no confidence the squishy corrupted swamp can get anything substantive done!
