Paulie had he crossed the doorway, wouldn't have been injured so "seriously" imo. Head wounds in general are bleeders...so the amount of blood isn't necessarily indicative of the force of the blow. I highly doubt the medical reports were accurate....I just think again, my opinion, that Paulie was kept longer to help the story. It appears from that video angle that the police were able to get a handle on the bud pretty quickly. Also, the initial report gave the illusion that the bud was in just underwear and sneakers. In the video it appears he's wearing a bathrobe???
