Applestiltskin was like catching lightening in a bottle, a once in a lifetime thing. Someone left a bruised apple on that ledge and Glen took a picture and posted it every day to document its decline. At first just a picture without comment, then people started commenting and he started adding accessories; a firecracker on July 4th, a can of beer, a cutout picture of a 'girlfriend'. It took on a life of its own and became a "thing". It was just bizarre enough to draw me in and enticed me to follow the page, as did many other people. It was a glorious time to be alive!
