In response to the whole Lia Thomas thing, I feel for the teammates. Penn has put them in a really tough position. They're young (and according to Jerry Nadler, years away from having fully formed brains) and are risking having their scholarships (for a VERY expensive school) revoked. While it would have been great for them to refuse to swim, this may be their only way to afford college. All the blame needs to be pointed at those in charge of Penn who felt having a *winning* team was more important than the damage done to the actual women swimmers.

One thing I learned in life, if you don’t stick up for yourself, no one else is going to do it.
It’s an unfortunate situation for these young ladies to be stuck with, but it isn’t going to change without them pushing back.
