I just tried to edit a comment for spelling and it got deleted ☹️.

Here in SW PA we refer going to prison as "going upstate" as opposed to serving your time in the county jail.

Take a pic inside the train pls. I've not been on one in years.

It's beautiful today. 74°, 🌞 low humidity. I'm all about gardening and planting flowers today with a few necessary chores scattered throughout.

I hope everything has a great day.

"Up the river" was specifically coined for Sing Sing prison in the 1890's, when people would be convicted of crimes in NYC and then literally be put on a boat and taken "up the river" to Ossining Correctional. 😉

Nice to see so many people taking advantage of the opportunity to bike the parkway. Road America, which is a road course race track in Elkhart Lake, WI offers 4 Miles of Fitness every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm-8pm during the summer. It's a beautiful twisting, turning, hilly track. You can walk it, ride bike, roller blade, etc. I'm giving it a shot on the bike this Wednesday, weather permitting.

Is the BRP one of those damned racist roads Booty Judge was whining about? I've been on that road a few times but use the Taconic a lot. I detest that road! The northern section is boring as hell (I refer to it as the Catatonic), then once you pass the Newburgh/Danbury connector southbound it gets ridiculously narrow and winding, with a rock face on one side and a cliff on the other and nothing but a rusted out mangled guiderail separating the northbound and southbound lanes by about 18". That's where the maniacs decide to exceed the 55 mph limit by 20 or more and cops are nowhere to be found (not that there's any place to pull over). I lose a year of my lifespan every time we drive that godforsaken road.
