I'm sure they're counting on riots to erupt, then they can impose Martial Law, or some other type of emergency, so they can regain control of the people. It will then allow them to only have one name on the ballot, kind of like in North Korea.

Yet the Senate Minority "Leader" (who loves title leader more than he likes actually doing anything with that title) cautions against an impeachment inquiry because it would be bad for the country. Or maybe opening up an investigation into CCP buying influence from elected officials would be bad for elected leaders selling influence to the CCP....
