I know of no private organizations but Samaritan's Purse is wonderful and on hand at all emergencies. I trust them 1,000% with their work and especially the money donations.
They are talking to the CEO of the candle factory that was destroyed. Some good news is that now there are 94 of the 110 workers known to be alive. They believe they got out of the building before it was getting so bad. Some are in hospitals in nearby towns. So now instead of 70 or so dead there's only 16. I don't mean to minimize it by saying only.
This is the site the CEO of the candle factory has set up for the victims. FOX interviewed and he said he would personally guarantee that every penny went to help victims. There's a fund somewhere to donate for funeral expenses that I'm looking for.
Below is our states fund going 100% to our Kentucky families.
Top priority is paying for funeral arrangements- the Mayfield area is fairly low income and unfortunately the hardest hit don't have funds for this.
After that all funds are going to immediate needs, such as clothing, food, toiletries, pet food!...everything one needs to live hour by hour, day to day.
