At JCP a customer was returning a pair of dress slacks he swore he hadn't worn, I felt in the pocket and pulled out a $20 bill, some ticket stubs, and a Chapstick. "Guess that 20 isn't your then?"
When I worked at JCPenney, and the photographer would be there in the middle of the Children's Dept taking pics, women would take a cute outfit off the rack, put it on their kid, get the pic taken, take it off their kid and put it back on the rack.
Or you could call it "borrowing."
