Here we have various groups that collect discarded trees in mid-late January. Some are used to mark the safe routes to travel on frozen lakes, in the spring they just sink to the bottom and become habitat until they decompose. One group uses it as a fund raiser, you pay $5, they pick up your tree, then they have a big bonfire with them at some winter festival thing.
It looks like it's been there since New Year's Day. And why wouldn't whoever owns the store/property have removed it themselves by now? A general "malaise" seems to have entered our group psyche - an "I don't really give a flying f*ck any longer because no one else does" and that is just where the prog/left wants us. Pick up that tree and do one little part of restoring civilization. Like this in my town last weekend: https://www.wwnytv.com/2023/05/19/volunteers-clean-up-downtown-watertown/
There's a woman in our community that organizes trash cleanups along local roads. She has a loyal group of volunteers and those that are ordered community service can participate.
Yea. We need to do more to keep our own back yards clean without the government being involved. Nothing that the government "gives" you doesn't have strings attached.
That's been their plan all along, to make you so conditioned to thinking that government, using your tax dollars solves every problem that they tell you that you have. It is a no-win gambit and more and more have been sucked into their dependency machine since LBJ signed the Great Society legislation that gave us the welfare state.
There are all sorts of things wrong with this person. I agree. C it is.

C for a win
C. The reason my sister finally bought a fake tree: she couldn't bear to toss the real tree in Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr or May.
