One could argue the reason the drug deaths are so high is because they are poisonings.

People might be completely unaware of lethal amounts of fentanyl present in their cloned Xanax.

I get prescription Xanax. It better not kill me because I need it for anxiety.

Full disclosure I have a prescription as well. Fortunately I don’t need it often because every time I have requested a refill there’s a whole bullshit test I have to take even though I only get about 30 tabs A YEAR.

Really. That's BS. I get a refill for 0.5mg 90/month with no trouble. I never take that many and I don't always request a refill.

I have to do that mental health questionnaire. It’s ridiculous. The point is they make it difficult to legally get some of these drugs and people end up with tainted street drugs. That’s why so many occasional drug users are also dying. It’s not just addicts overdosing from addiction anymore.

That's awful to go thru that for Xanax. I could see if it was oxy.

I’m not talking about prescription meds. It’s one line of thought on allowing doctors to prescribe and monitor even drug abusers.
