I see that the NYT has finally admitted that the hunter biden lap top really exists and is as bad as the NY Post said it was. How about that, and I wonder just what the President of Ukraine has to say about that. This Ukraine mess is deeper and darker than what the happy press wants us to think. What with the blue and yellow flag waving and Google, this morning, asking me if I wanted to contribute Ukrainian relief when I opened my Gmail you would think this is a black and white them vs us, evil empire vs bright and shiny America sort of adventure. No, we have a greatly compromised occupier of the white house with little credibility on any side of this equation and a cackling ho in the wings should something go amiss. Despite the green beer and all, I am not feeling all that happy this St Patrick's Day.

There’s no doubt the innocent Ukrainian people are in the midst of unimaginable horror.

In a span of a few weeks they went from living a very similar western type life, to being plunged into an invasion. Imagine if September 11th happened in a dozen large cities.

I don’t give a rat’s butt about the governments, but it’s a horrible humanitarian situation.

One that our government allowed to happen, by our feckless leadership.

The Ukrainian people have not been just innocent dupes in their nation's past. No one is pleased by military unrest but hoping for world peace is not a workable solution. Just find ALL the actors responsible for this mess, back to and including the clinton administration and hold them responsible in order to stop the aggression, then you can help the survivors. Ignoring governments will not help the citizens, for that you need credible diplomacy and military strength something that a compromised biden is incapable of providing. Elections do have consequences

Yeah, ok. Take a look around here. By your metric we should just nuke the world. 🙄

probably, there is far more darkness than light in the majority of the human race and that has been a fact since the first man contemplated the evil his fellow man just committed and that is who we are. Laws and enforcement are all that the dark will listen to, take Chicago for example, all the nice platitudes in the world will not save children in that city, it will take strong law enforcement. Just as in Ukraine and Russia. If we are not willing to step in and stop it, what good is a little aid?

I don’t know, what good does it do the Ukrainian people if we get into a nuclear pissing match with Russia?

It’s one thing to say what good is a little aid, and quite another to say the individual civilians somehow deserve it.

Russia has been wanting Ukraine back since the fall of the USSR. Pleading for the lives of anyone is a futile act, he does not consider that price too high. We will be in a pissing war if

we protect Eastern Europe or we will avoid it because we will back down and lose our standing in the world. You pick. but make sure you understand the complete ramifications of a world dominated by Russia/China.
